It was some time without news, but today we have something to talk about!
In this post we want to explain you how your mobile devices will be working with our watches, so lets start!

Connection

As we told before, our watch will be connected via Bluetooth for this reason your phone device will handle a service to maintain connection. To start pairing/connecting we have implemented a button inside of the android application, so it makes easier to start. When we have our devices connected we open input and output streams to interact and synchronize data.

Notifications

At this point android makes it very easy, we have broadcast events looking for the phone and SMS state. When we have some changes we check for new event, parsing data and obtain what we need, then sends it to our watch using output stream.

Something new that we have added is vkontakte/facebook (In the future the list will grow up) notifications which are ready to use at the phone, but we steel have to add this function to the hardware. New feature, for now, works on android versions under 4.3, as exactly at this version they did a huge change for the notification center. For this reason we will release 2 android applications: for the android version under 4.3 and for 4.3 and higher using new feature.

Media controls

Controls are supposed to start playing music using any media player, hide your phone in your pocket, bag, etc. and from the watch you can control the song (next, play/pause, previous). This on android works via listening to the input stream and depending on the command, we will activate media buttons on our phone and that is all.

Data synchronization

This feature is used to pass data such as time and date to the watch so if we have the differences we are able to correct them. For this we have a separated button on the android application screen which will send date and time via output stream and our watch will update its time and date.

Application GUI

And the last, but not the least is a graphical user interface. On our application we have something like 3 buttons and some services, so using all the space we have to make something really cool looking, usable and attractive for our users, so one we are trying to create... and one NOT final option is:
